Good morning, 

Your child and possibly some parents have opted to participate in the Children's Mile on Sunday 9^th June. Yesterday, your child should have brought home their t-shirt including any additional t-shirts for any adult supporters. If you're a parent without a t-shirt you are more than welcome to spectate during the event however, you will not be allowed to support your child during the run, they will be supervised by teaching staff. 

We will be meeting at the War Memorial Park visitors centre from 8:30am - 8:45am. Staff will be wearing the same green t-shirts as the children, so hopefully we will be easy to spot! Parents with green t-shirts will be then joining  us at the school assembly point, all other parents are free to make their way to the spectating zones. At the end of the run, we will then meet again at visitor's centre so spectating parents can collect their children. Parents who are participating, you will be supervising your own child during the run and you are more than welcome to exit the event with your child when finished. Good morning,

Holy Family children and parents have the opportunity to participate in the Children's Mile on Sunday 9^th June, located at the War Memorial park. You may have heard of this event or maybe even participated in it in previous years! Children will need to be at the park for 8:30am and will be finished at approximately 11:00am.

Entry to the Children's Mile is £10 per student and £5 per parent/carer. All profits will go to a local charity and 'Team Coventry', who will represent Coventry and Britain at the International Children's Games in Mexico this summer. All participants will receive a T-Shirt to commemorate the event!

If you and/or your child would like to participate please could you consent for them via gateway, making the correct payment for the amount of children and adults participating by FRIDAY 24th MAY 3.00pm. Please be aware your child may be finished before the 11am event finish time and can be collected earlier, so it is recommended that even if you are not running with your child, an adult is at the event ready to collect them when they have completed their mile. Further updates regarding meeting places and times will be send to participating families week commencing 3rd June.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday at our fete. Just a few reminders/notices; please send children into school in their PE kits, ready for their races. Timings are in the program that you will receive on entering. Car parking will be available on KS2 playground and entering via Penny Park Lane only please. Pedestrians can enter via Beake Avenue or Penny Park Lane. Raffle tickets can be handed into Mrs Silvera's classroom (This will be signposted). And finally, please remember that it will be cash only.
